Aggression against civilian populations is occurring across the globe, yet rightly or wrongly, the impact and focus is more significantly felt when it is closer to the safety of our home.
Kiev lies just 1500 miles to the east of London and whilst not an EU member, it is widely recognised that Ukrainians see themselves as a part of Europe and so the horrific drama unfolding is very disturbing.
So too is the level of admiration and inspiration that the citizens of Ukraine provide to all of us in our daily lives both personally and commercially.
How incredible is the example they’re setting in defence of their country, their loved ones and their ideals!
Whilst we provide them with all the support possible and have them in our thoughts and prayers, we can draw on their example to make the most of what we have and to appreciate every person and part of our good fortune.
